Fall Bulk Day 28

I am back home and back to the normal bulk routine for the next few days. This is how my body responded.

Fall Bulk Day 28 Weight

Today was the first full day back in Wisconsin, and it was nice to get back to my normal eating, training, and working routine. I intentionally went a little higher on carbs and calories to offset the previous day’s deficit.

It felt like my body soaked up the extra nutrients because it seemed to tighten as it filled out. I also made it a point to rehydrate and drank nearly a gallon of water.

Here are my nutrition numbers for day 28.

NutrientAmount
Protein258 g (33%)
Carbs342 g (43%)
Fat84 g (24%)
Calories In+3,156
Calories Out-2,726
Calorie Surplus+430 (16%)

I also returned to my 6-day modified bro split workout now that I have my full home gym again. Today’s workout was biceps and triceps.

Yesterday, I mentioned that I expected my weight to fluctuate up or down depending on which factors won out. Decreased water weight would result in a drop, or added food and glycogen would increase it.

The scale read 175.5 lbs this morning, meaning I gained half a pound from yesterday. This is encouraging as my weight should continue increasing with my regular bulking meal plan.

I aim to continue with a slightly higher calorie surplus this week, roughly 10-12% on average. That way, I should be able to get back on the trendline and kickstart some new gains.
